Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold both on the floor for the team and in individual events. Bronze was taken through her balance bar. In the end, she was the first American in the Olympics with the top number of medals. In 2016, she along with her teammate Gabby Doug were among the first Americans to take home back-to-back golds in team competitions. Also, she received silvers in the individual all around event and floor exercises. She took a break of three years between each Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Additionally she was a part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years young. Aly contributes to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. She hopes to become fashion-forward and increase the range of her leotards and socks in the very near future. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later in the year.
