Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actress who has received critical recognition for her skills. Sagittarius. Her birthplace was in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the third oldest siblings born to Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne psychologist. She is of English-Scottish descent. Moore was a struggle due to the fact that her family was always shifting due to her father's employment. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved to the United States. She began performing in theatre. She graduated in 1983 with a Master of Fine Arts degree from Boston University. When she graduated, Moore moved to New York where she started her career in off-Broadway theater. Moore began her career in theater off-Broadway and in New York, after she had graduated. She first appeared in an episode of The Edge of Night, which was telecast on the network in 1985. She performed the double role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Turns the show that marked her debut. This show lasted until 1988 when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that was later criticized as a terrible low-budget film. The film was followed by Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. She received several nominations and received praise for her debut film. Moore's first leading role was on screen in Safe (1995). In 1997, her career as an actress reached a turning point after Steven Spielberg cast her to be the main character in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became the highest grossing film of 1997. In 1999, she was a part of the critically acclaimed Magnolia and received a SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore was also in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has appeared in countless movies and TV series. She has a starring role in the most recent one, which is When You Finish Saving the World (2022). Her acting career in Hollywood has established itself, and she's also a published children's novelist. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and became an N.Y.T. bestseller. best-seller resulting in it being adapted to a series as well as a musical. The author also released her book My Mom's a Foreigner in the year 2013. Moore has a public life as a well-known actress and novelist. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 the couple divorced. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore was later married in 2003 is a father of two with Moore. Moore is an individual who is devoted to her career and family.
